SmartBackup for Smartsheet Platform Advisory

Overview Please note that the core Smartsheet Application as hosted by Amazon Web Services (AWS) is currently experiencing intermittent [500 Internal Server Error] and [WinError 10060] issues under certain conditions. As a direct result of these issues, some Smartsheet API-driven applications including SmartBackup are experiencing ‘timeout’ and other consequential errors when executing long-running jobs or high-intensity API calls. Examples include the downloading of significantly large numbers of attachments per sheet, or when downloading extremely large attachments (e.g., mp4 video files), respectively. Smartsheet Executive Management has both acknowledged and committed to addressing these issues but have yet to provide a timetable to implement the resolution. AcuWorkflow has secondarily engaged in significant testing and development around the SmartBackup Platform to compensate during this interim timeframe, which includes retry and wait logic, along with buffer adjustments and
